val·i·date - prove valid; show or confirm the validity of something
You are not alone in the struggles and challenges that you face. We are all in process and sometimes we need to give ourselves grace. One of my deepest desires is to help those placed in my path see their worth and importance. We all play critical roles and sometimes just need a gentle reminder.
nur·ture- To help grow or develop; cultivate
Everyone of us needs a place to turn to and know we can trust and be trusted with their story. I have a mother's heart for those who are coming behind me in their role as a friend, wife or mother. Now that my own children are mostly grown and don't need me as they used to, my heart is open to others who will allow me to share a "mother's heart" with them.
en·cour·age -to inspire (someone) with the courage or confidence (to do something). To give support to; foster:
One of the most encouraging pieces of advice ever given to me, is not to take life too seriously. When I am having a challenging day, I have to will myself to remember, what I am experiencing is temporary. Recently, I was reminded that life is filled with conflict and it is a normal part of every relationship. How about pausing right here and we can sing together the song from the musical Annie, "The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow" (unless you live in Nebraska in the winter).
in·spire (n-spr) To stimulate to action; motivate
We all have those areas in our life where we need to grow. I am so grateful for all that has been invested in me by those who have gone before me. I want to be a life long learner and always ready to be challenged to keep moving forward. I've had bad habits that needed to be addressed and other areas where I was not doing what I needed to. Change often came when I was inspired by someone else who urged me to take responsibility for continuing to grow and develop as a woman. I hope I can do the same for you.
